Welcome to my website.

First of all, I want to thank you for allowing me to serve as your Sheriff for the past four years. It has been an honor and a privilege.

Now, as I embark on my campaign for a second term, I hope you will take the time to review the many accomplishment of the men and women, of the Erie County Sheriff's Office, I am proud to command. This site provides a number of links that will help you evaluate the performance of your Erie County Sheriff's Office.

I am a 37-year veteran of law enforcement. Before joining former Sheriff Pat Gallivan as his Undersheriff, I served for 22 years in the New York State Police, working my way through the ranks of Trooper, Sergeant, Investigator, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, and Inspector.

I am a recipient of the Brummer Award, the highest award for heroism given by the New York State Police. I hold a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, and am a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
