Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Town of West Seneca man for driving while intoxicated.   This is the Erie County Sheriff's Office 116th DWI arrest in 2013.

Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz and Detective Emily Nelson, while working on the Strike Force Detail in the City of Buffalo, conducted a traffic stop on Fillmore Ave.  The officers found the driver, 24 yr. old Lionel Willis, to be intoxicated.  Mr. Willis was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Grand Island Substation.  A chemical breath test was administered to Mr. Willis and his blood alcohol content registered a .13%.  Mr. Willis was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other vehicle and traffic violations.  He was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court at a future date.

"I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the citizens of Erie County for your support! Together, we will continue to make a our community a safer and better place to live.
