“I AM NOT FOR SALE” – 10 YEAR OLD ‘S BILLBOARD AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING CHOSEN TO
DOT 17 COUNTIES THROUGH WESTERN DISTRICT OF NEW YORK
CAMPAIGN AIMS TO BRING AWARENESS ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Buffalo, NY- Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard and representatives from the Western District of NY Human Trafficking Task Force and Alliance (comprised of local, state and federal law enforcement officials) are pleased to introduce 10 year old Logan Kuhlmey of Lancaster, NY as one of the winners of the Art Against Human Trafficking billboard campaign.  Logan’s artwork will be one of five artists’ artwork that will be displayed on billboards throughout the 17 counties of the Western District of NY for a period of approximately 6 weeks. 

Logan’s “I AM NOT FOR SALE”  billboard (see above ) will be unveiled at a press conference on Thursday, May 9th@ 10:00 AM outside of  Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, in which several dignitaries will attend including:  Sheriff Tim Howard; Special Agent in Charge  of the FBI Buffalo Office - Richard Frankel; FBI Special agents Jason Jarnagin and Jennifer Amo.  Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations James Spero and Assistant Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations, Kevin Sibley.  Also attending the press conference will be Undersheriff William Sanborn of Monroe County; and Captain Kristen M. Neubauer of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

The contest began last year and was designed to help educate/bring awareness to the horrors of human trafficking.

The four other winners of the billboard contest include: Mary O’Donnell of Dunkirk, NY-“ GIVE ME WINGS” billboard ; Judith Wright of Springville, NY-“ AND STILL I RISE/UGLY TRUTH” billboard;  Sherry Preziuso of Buffalo, NY-“ DISQUIET” billboard; and Christine M. Wallace of Buffalo, NY- “Then and Now” billboard.

A small reception will be given afterward in which the winners will also receive congratulatory certificates of appreciation.
