Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that his Narcotics Unit assisted by Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant signed by New York State Supreme Court Justice Timothy J. Drury at 1035 West Avenue, upper apartment, in the City of Buffalo, NY. Efrain Gonzalez, 32 years of age, was arrested and charged with two counts of B-felony criminal possession of controlled substance in the third degree.  Recovered from Gonzalez's apartment was in excess of 350 bags of heroin and a quantity of crack cocaine packaged for sale. The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated at approximately $4,000. Approximately $3,600 in US currency was also discovered during the search. Gonzalez was distributing heroin and crack cocaine in the City of Buffalo, as well as the surrounding suburbs, including the Town of Clarence, NY.  Gonzalez was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Buffalo City Court.
