Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the early afternoon arrest of a Town of Collins man for felony DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle after a traffic stop in the Village of Springville.

On a reckless operation complaint, Erie County Sheriff's Deputy Amy Klimowicz stopped the suspect vehicle on S. Cascade Rd. in the Village of Springville.

Upon further interview and field sobriety tests, it was determined that the driver, 21 y/o Kameron R. Maracle of Four mile Level Rd. in the Town of Collins, was intoxicated.

Maracle had a prior DWI and his license was currently revoked for the same, making this arrest a felony DWI and felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle as well.

Maracle submitted to a chemical breath test which resulted in a 13% BAC.

Maracle was arraigned at Springville Village Court  and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.

This was the 246th DWI arrest by the Erie County Sheriff's Office this year.

"I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the citizens of Erie County for your support! Together, we will continue to make a our community a safer and better place to live."
