         Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports a two-car crash that fatallly injured a Corfu man and sent a West Seneca woman to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.

An investigation by the Erie County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Unit reveals that at approximately 11:45 AM, a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling north bound on Two Rod Road  in the Town of Alden.  The opeator of the car failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line into the path of a south bound SUV. 

The operator of the car, whose name is being witheld pending notification of next-of-kin, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the SUV, 46 year old Lisa Kluck of West Seneca, was transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of her non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.  The Erie County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Town Line Fire Department.
